At any given time, the gallery has over 250 original works of art created by members of the Ellis County Art Association. The art pieces include photographs, paintings, sculptures, pottery, fiber art, and handcrafted jewelry. Additionally, on the first Monday of every month, the gallery hosts a guest artist who gives a free demonstration.
Board & Brush Creative Studio
Board & Brush Creative Studio offers a variety of exciting DIY classes where you can make your own art. Even if you’ve never used a hammer or a power tool before, you can still create a unique and personalized sign. Simply browse the selection of classes and decide which one you would like to try. Hachie Hearts Trail
The Hachie Hearts Trail is a one-of-a-kind outdoor art exhibit that takes you on a journey through the city and gives you an opportunity to view some beautiful sculptures. The interactive tour visits 21 painted and decorated “Hachie Hearts” sponsored by local businesses and created by local artists. Each heart has a special theme, such as the Here Comes the Sun heart sponsored by the Waxahachie Sun and the I Love Art heart sponsored by the City of Waxahachie.
